Skiing became a whole new adventure for me thanks to Sofie Noiron<\/a><\/strong>, who introduced me to sit-skiing. I\u2019m so grateful to Kyra Visser<\/a><\/strong> and Anvasport<\/a><\/strong> for giving me my first opportunities on the slopes en Fran\u00e7ois Stander<\/a><\/strong> who believed in my skills and allowed me to train with his WeSki<\/strong><\/a> team on the slalom in Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most memorable experiences was in Livigno<\/strong>, where I had the pleasure of skiing under the guidance of the incredible Davide JJ Cusini<\/a> and his team<\/strong>, and I learned my first giant slalom moves following the cool tips from Piotr Batko<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From that moment, it became serious again. I got a call from the Belgian (Wallonian) Federation<\/a><\/strong> inviting me to train with J\u00e9r\u00e9mie<\/a>, R\u00e9m<\/a><\/strong>i, Cezar, Max<\/strong> from the Belgian team<\/a><\/strong>. After training and showing what I could do to St\u00e9fan Sazio<\/a><\/strong>, the coach from the Belgian team, I was accepted onto the team!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That same year, I also had the chance to train with Geertje Derksen from G-Force<\/a> <\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and was invited to join a few days of training with the Global Para Race Team<\/a> by Ralph Jegler<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first big challenge came during the festival Handi Neige in Peisey, where I raced in the French championship together with the fabulous Jesper Saltvik Pedersen<\/a> <\/strong>and the lovely Mar\u00eda Mart\u00edn-Granizo<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part? A little later my best friend Lilou<\/a><\/strong> and Damon<\/strong> were also selected to join the Belgian team, so now we\u2019re ready for an incredible season of adventures in the mountains, aiming for our goal, the paralympics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
